Throughout the middle ages and Renaissance, veil pins were used on various styles of hats, to secure a veil to a wimple or a hat, or to secure dress closures, attach removable sleeves, and any accessory that can be temporarily secured to clothing.

I created these pins using metal beads, which are attached to a pin base.

Each pin is 1.75 inches / 4.5 cm in length.
